December: Black Angus Cow — Shannon

December: Black Angus Cow — Shannon

Hello! I’m Shannon. I belong to the Angus breed of beef cattle. As you can probably guess from the name Angus, the breed comes from Scotland, but my family has been living in Canada since 1860. Some of my cousins have red hair instead of black like mine so they are called Red Angus. Our breed doesn’t have horns, not even the bulls.
