Free access to the Animal Barns
As in past years, visitors to the Canada Agriculture Museum have FREE access to the animal barns from November 1 to February 28. The barns are open daily free of charge from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except December 25, when the barns are closed. No daily demonstrations and exhibitions until March 1, 2007.

New Themes! Birthday Parties
Birthday parties, two hours of fun, food and visiting the animals, continue through the winter months. A Museum educator leads the group through a visit of the barns, ice cream making, and a craft. Available year-round for ages 3 to 12. For information and registration call 613 991-3053.

School Programs
School programs continue through the winter months. They extend and enrich the classroom experience in a stimulating educational environment. Two new school programs based on the Museum's new exhibition and website Food for Health start March 21! For more information about school programs and to register call 613 991-3053.

New! March Break Camp
March Break Camp will be offered for children ages 9 to 11 from March 12 to 16, 2007. Children can get a taste of farm life with a week of hands-on fun! Registration will open January 15, 2007. Space is limited. To register call 613 991-3053.

Summer Day Camps
Summer Day Camps offer children ages 4 to 14 unique and enriching experiences in our demonstration farm setting. Registration will open February 19, 2007. Space is limited. To register call 613 991-3053.

March 2007
The Canada Agriculture Museum comes alive in March 2007.The exhibitions open again for another season. Museum Interpreters will bring agriculture knowledge, our exhibitions, and artifacts to life with informative and hands-on daily demonstrations.

New! Food for Health Exhibition and Website
Visitors can visit our new Food for Health exhibition and website opening March 9, 2007. This exhibition answers Canadians’ questions and concerns about the safety of their food supply and the role food plays in ensuring good health.

Through interactive activities, informative displays and fascinating historical objects, Food for Health gives Canadians the knowledge to protect themselves from food-borne illnesses, to handle food safely and to better understand the links between diet, physical activity and certain illnesses. Food for Health website launches March 9, 2007.

Tractors
In the exhibition Tractors, visitors can follow the 100-year-old story of the tractor from unfamiliar oddity to commonplace tool on the Canadian farm.

The Canada Agriculture Museum connects Canadians and the world to the historical and current importance in everyday life of agricultural science and technology through engaging interpretive activities and products centred on an accessible demonstration farm.
