Festival of the Canadian Horse at the Canada Agriculture Museum
OTTAWA, June 28, 2005 The Canada Agriculture Museum is partnering with the Upper Canada District (Ontario) Horse Breeders to host the Festival of the Canadian Horse on Canada Day and July 2, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition to offering its usual Canada Day activities, the Canada Agriculture Museum is pleased to offer this opportunity for Canadians to learn about Canada's national horse, the Canadian Horse. Eight Canadian Horses will be on display and representatives from the Upper Canada District (Ontario) Horse Breeders will present ring demonstrations showing the horses' versatility and love for work.
Spacious outdoor grounds, fascinating indoor exhibitions and free parking - the Canada Agriculture Museum offers families an alternative to crowds and traffic. Visitors can drop by for a fun-filled day of games, activities, ice cream and bread-making. The Museum is centrally located and is easy to reach on bicycle. Free admission on July 1, Canada Day. (Regular admission fees apply July 2 onwards.)
