OTTAWA, June 20, 2008
For immediate release
The Canada Agriculture Museum is proud to present very special “Canadians” on June 28 and 29: Canadian Horses, Canada’s National Horse. For a fourth consecutive year, several Canadian-breed horses will be showing off their abilities in demonstrations provided by the Upper Canada District (Ontario) Canadian Horse Breeders.
In addition to Canadian Horses, the Museum will offer a weekend full of activities such as bread making and tasting, ice cream making, a children's craft, and a calf grooming demonstration. The Canada Agriculture Museum, with its spacious grounds and fascinating indoor exhibitions, is an ideal place for families to enjoy a day at the farm in the city. The Museum is centrally located and easy to reach by bus, bicycle or car. Parking is free.
