| BREAD: THE INSIDE STORY
It is pak’wejigan to Algonquins, psomi to Greeks, and khleb to Russians. Its origins are ancient, but it is eaten all around the world today. It can be round, flat, long or small, eaten at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and most of it is made from wheat. What is it? Bread, of course. And, in the exhibition at the Canada Agriculture Museum entitled “Bread: The Inside Story”, people can discover the fascinating tale of this basic food, from field to flour to baker to us.
Visitors enter the exhibit through a long, visually appealing, introductory Bread Walk where they get “a taste” of things to come.
