Canadian Agricultural Literacy Week

February 26 – March 3, 2012

  

Book a school program from the Canada Agriculture Museum during Canadian Agricultural Literacy Week and be entered into a draw to receive that program for free!

Canadian Agriculture Literacy Week is a new initiative of Agriculture in the Classroom across Canada to raise student awareness about Canadian Agriculture.

To celebrate, the Canada Agriculture Museum is offering the chance to be entered into a draw to receive your school program for free.

Did you know that we have a Youth Fund to help defray certain programs or transportation costs for some schools and groups? When you call to book a program, ask if your school or groups is eligible.

Download FREE activity kits, or visit the Museum’s two online exhibitions, Bees: A Honey of an Idea and Food for Health.

General information

The Canada Agriculture Museum is located on the Central Experimental Farm, Prince of Wales Drive, between the traffic circle and Baseline Road.

Free parking.

Visitors to the Canada Agriculture Museum can enjoy access to the animal barns by donation from December 1st, 2011 to February 29th, 2012.

No daily demonstrations or indoor exhibitions are presented until March 1st, 2012.
