Cold Weather Changes from December to February

 

Visitors to the Canada Agriculture Museum can enjoy access to the animal barns by donation from December 1st, 2011 to February 29th, 2012.

Please note that the barns will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25, 2011.

No daily demonstrations or indoor exhibitions are presented until March 1st, 2012.


Summer Camps 2012

Summer Camps offer children ages 4 to 14 unique and enriching experiences in our demonstration farm setting. Registration is online only, starting at 10:00 a.m. on February 21st, 2012. Space is limited.

March 1st, 2012

The Canada Agriculture Museum comes alive in March 2012. The indoor exhibitions open again for another season. Museum Interpreters will bring agriculture knowledge, our exhibitions, and artefacts to life with informative and hands-on daily demonstrations.

March Break at the Canada Agriculture Museum

March 3 to 18, 2012

The Museum launches a new spring season with its annual Barnyard Break. Take in a wide variety of demonstrations from Butter Making and Tasting to Cooking with Maple Syrup. Get creative with a winter-themed craft, and visit the animal barns. Detailed programming to come!

Birthday Parties continue year round

Children ages 3-12 can enjoy a MOOving Experience with games, ice cream and a special tour of the barns.

Children 5 to 12 year-old can get cooking with a Pizza Party and taste the rewards of all their hard work after visiting the animals. For information and to register call 613 991-3053.

School Programs

School programs continue through the winter months. They extend and enrich the classroom experience in a stimulating educational environment. Teachers can connect to their curricula through our dynamic and hands-on programs, and by using our printable free Educational Activity Kits. The Canada Agriculture Museum is located on the Central Experimental Farm, Prince of Wales Drive, between the traffic circle and Baseline Road.
